If you love animals, nature, and all things wild, you’ll feel right at home here. You can expect personal experience, how to take action, educational facts, Q&A’s, and so much more! I myself, am still learning about the African bush every day, and am excited to share what I discover with you!

How did this become my life?

I grew up surrounded by art. Even as a child, I was always immersed in theatre, heading to auditions weekly, even leaving school early on certain days just to make it to rehearsals. I loved it so much I went on to attend Walnut Hill School for the Arts, a high school dedicated to educating young artists from all over the world. IMG_2192After graduation, I followed my love of art to college to pursue my BFA in Musical Theatre. At first, I felt like I was in a good place, but soon came to realize that maybe there was something more I needed to accomplish. Although theatre will always be near and dear to my heart, I’ll be honest, it could be very time consuming and didn’t give me much room to pursue other interests. I realized that I could put my arts background to use in other ways. It influenced me to be a creative person, full of spirit, acceptance, understanding, and self sufficiency. And it gave me the confidence and the tools to explore life outside of school. Although I am a strong believer in education, I took the risk to leave college to see where it would take me, and I ended up in a place I never could have expected.

The summer of 2016 I took a trip to Tanzania. Little did I know, it would change my entire life. Throughout the fifteen days I was there, I was able to dive into the freedom of the wild. In the first moments I saw the elegance of the African Elephant, free in its natural habitat, I knew I was headed in a new direction. So here I am right now, extremely passionate about Africa’s wildlife and its conservation. I am now a part of working toward allowing all these magnificent animals to exist with no restrictions and no threat.

I would love for you to join me on this journey!
